This is a restorative massage meaning that muscles that have been in a constant contracted state will be restored through this form of massage. This involves an intensive treatment for long term postural trauma to the muscle tissue. This is a great massage for those who are physically active and obtain sports related injuries.

Swedish Massage

Also known as circulatory massage. This massage offers overall relaxation and circulatory benefits using effleurage and petrissage strokes to release mild muscle tension issues. Client may choose a light to medium-firm pressure. In the 90 minute session which is called the Deluxe Swedish Massage, a slower massage of more detailed work can be achieved for those areas of the body that endure more stress and constriction.

Hot Stone Massage

Unlike many hot stone massages, here at Karing Vitality for Health we use the stones as a tool to get into the core of the knotted muscle tissue so that the heat from the hot stone and the pressure in using the stone as a tool gives you optimal benefits. This massage is for those people who have a difficult time relaxing and muscle tension and knotted tissue cannot be released through other forms of massage.

Sports Massage

This is a deep tissue massage, but unlike a standard deep tissue massage, sports massage incorporates a lot more stretching and elongating muscle tissue within the deep tissue massage. Gua Sha

Gua Sha (Prenounced “Gwa Shaw”)

Gua Sha is an Asian modality used to resolve stagnation in the muscle tissue. Stagnation in Chinese medicine means that things (such as blood, muscle tissue, Qi) are simply “stuck” and therefore limited movement exists within these elements of the body. This scraping-like tech-nique releases toxicity allowing for movement to be restored.
